Meet linkding
linkding provides a deliberately compact interface for saving and finding links. Tags, metadata retrieval and search keep the everyday workflow simple, while browser extensions reduce the effort of adding pages to the library.
It can run on a user's own server and offers an API for integrations. Optional page preservation and multi-user support make it more capable than a plain links file without turning it into a general-purpose notes workspace.
