Meet Buku
Buku manages a portable bookmark database from the command line. It supports tags, powerful searches, metadata retrieval and imports or exports in several formats, making it useful for scripted research and terminal-centered workflows.
The associated bukuserver interface provides browser-based access when desired. Buku is not a conventional native graphical desktop app: its strengths are automation, portability and control over a local database rather than an all-in-one commercial cloud experience.
